About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Keybox 3D Map (the “Map”) at keybox.ae, run by Keybox.ae (“Keybox”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Map you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Map.

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Your account

• It's free. An account is free and is needed to use the Map. We may add paid features later; we'll never charge you without asking first.
• You must be 18 or older and give us a real email address that you control, and true details when we ask for your name, phone number and whether you're an agent.
• One person, one account. Your account is for you alone. Don't share it, sell it or let others use it, and keep your password, email and Google account secure, since they are how you sign in. Use a password you don't use anywhere else. Tell us straight away at info@keybox.ae if you think someone else is using your account.
• Devices. You can be signed in on a limited number of devices at once. Signing in on a new device may sign out the oldest one.
• Closing it. You can delete your account at any time (see Delete my account).

Accuracy of the Map

The Map is an illustration. It is built from public map data, developer materials, renders and our own modelling, and it is meant to help you explore, not to replace checking the facts.

• Off-plan designs are our illustrations. The 3D designs of projects that are planned or under construction are drawn by Keybox from publicly available renders and information. They are not supplied, checked or approved by the developers, and they are not official plans.
• Buildings and projects are approximate. Shapes, heights, floor counts, plot positions, orientation and surroundings may differ from what exists or what will be built.
• Off-plan projects may change. Designs, handover dates, status and details of projects that are planned or under construction can change, be delayed or be cancelled by their developers or the authorities.
• Views, sunlight and shadows are simulations. They are estimates based on the modelled city, not a guarantee of what you will see from a unit or how much sun it gets.
• Information may be out of date or incomplete. Some buildings, projects or areas may be missing, misplaced or shown with old information.

Keybox does not guarantee that anything shown is an accurate or complete representation of any property, project or area. Always verify details with the developer, the relevant authorities and a licensed professional before you make any decision, including buying, selling, renting or investing.

Not advice, not an offer

Nothing on the Map is financial, investment, legal or property advice, and nothing on it is an offer or a recommendation to sell, buy or rent any property. Showing a project on the Map doesn't mean Keybox or the developer endorses it. Listings, prices and availability are only those confirmed by the relevant seller, developer or agent.

What you may and may not do

You may use the Map for your own browsing, including to look at areas and projects for yourself or to show a client on your screen. You may not, and may not help or let anyone else:

• scrape, crawl, download in bulk or otherwise extract the Map's models, tiles, images or data, by hand or with any tool;
• use bots, scripts, automated browsers or any other automated means to access the Map, or try to get round our limits, bot checks or sign-in;
• copy, trace, rebuild or recreate the Map's 3D designs or models, in whole or in part, in any form;
• use anything from the Map to build, train or improve another map, dataset, model, AI system or service, especially one that competes with Keybox;
• reverse engineer, decompile, decrypt or take apart the Map's software or data formats, or try to remove or detect its invisible markers, except where the law allows this despite these terms;
• reuse the Map's content, renders or screenshots commercially (for example in marketing, listings or reports), or present them as your own, without our written permission;
• share your account, or open more than one account to get round a limit or a suspension;
• interfere with the Map, its servers or other people's use of it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Limits, suspension and deletion

To keep the Map working and protect it from copying, we watch how accounts use it, automatically and in person. We may, at any time and without notice:

• limit how much of the Map an account can load, or how quickly;
• sign an account out of some or all of its devices;
• suspend an account, automatically or by hand, if we reasonably believe it has broken these terms or its activity looks like scraping or automated use;
• delete an account that has broken these terms, and refuse new accounts from the same person.

If you think we've suspended your account by mistake, write to info@keybox.ae and a person will review it. We may also take legal action against anyone who copies the Map's designs or data.

Invisible markers

The map data sent to each account contains small, invisible differences and hidden details that are unique to that account. They don't affect what you see, but they let us identify the account that a copied or leaked version of the Map came from. By using the Map you accept that these markers are there and that we may use them as evidence.

Our designs and content

The Map's 3D designs and models, the way they are drawn, its renders, software, look and feel, text and the selection and arrangement of its data are owned by Keybox or the people we license them from, and are protected by copyright, database and other intellectual property laws. Using the Map doesn't give you any ownership of them, or any licence beyond using the Map as these terms allow.

Developer names, project names, logos and renders belong to their owners and are shown to identify their projects. If you believe something on the Map infringes your rights, contact us at info@keybox.ae.

If you send us ideas or corrections, we may use them freely to improve the Map.

Map data from others

The Map uses open map data, which we credit on the Map:

• © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL);
• Overture Maps Foundation data, available under the ODbL and the Community Data License Agreement – Permissive 2.0, depending on the dataset;
• Microsoft building footprints, available under the ODbL.

Those organisations own their data, and nothing in these terms limits any right you have under their licences to use their original data, which you can get from them directly. The restrictions in these terms apply to the Map itself and to Keybox's own designs and models.

Changes to the Map

We're improving the Map all the time, so features, areas and projects may change, move or be removed. The Map may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance. We may stop offering the Map, or free accounts, in which case we'll give you reasonable notice where we can.

Our liability

The Map is provided free and “as is”. To the extent the law allows:

• we give no promises about the Map beyond those in these terms, including that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted or fit for any particular purpose;
• Keybox is not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from relying on the Map, from any decision you make using it, or from not being able to use it, including loss of profit, opportunity or data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit, or any rights you have that can't be excluded.

If you break these terms, for example by copying the Map's designs or data, you are responsible for the loss this causes Keybox, including reasonable legal costs.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or the Map. This doesn't stop us from asking any court to protect our intellectual property.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the Map gains new features. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If we make a change that matters, we'll tell you by email or on the Map before it takes effect. Using the Map after that means you accept the new version; if you don't, you can delete your account.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
